Anti-prostitution
laws
struck
down,
more
importantly
-
the
Ontario
Supreme
Court
has
said
"Pimpin'
is
Legal".
I
have
been
in
the
escort
world
and
understand
it
first
hand.
People
say
that
striking
the
laws
down
is
wrong
because
these
ladies
of
the
night
are
involved
in
drugs,
break
and
enters,
and
all
types
of
crime.
My
thought
on
that
is,
that
stuff
is
still
illegal
and
doesn't
change
because
of
this
new
bold
step
that
legalizes
the
activity
around
prostitution
such
as
"pimping".
So
what
exactly
were
they
thinking?
Pimping
to
me
means
a
number
of
things,
Now
first
one
must
understand
that
the
new
law
dated
Sept
28,
2010,
has
a 30
day
stay
before
it
takes
effect
and
there
may
be
an
appeal
which
delays
it,
but
the
bottom
line
is,
the
Courts
have
said
the
laws
such
as
living
off
the
avails
of
prostitution
violate
the
Canadian
Charter
of
Rights
and
Freedoms.
Also,
it
is
worth
noting
that
there
are
two
types
of
Pimps.
The
first
is a
business
manager
- an
organizer,
an
advertiser,
a
security
blanket
and
the
escorts
best
friend.
The
second
is a
gorilla
pimp,
and
that's
a
person
that
beats,
abuses
and
takes
all
the
escort's
money
(which
is
wrong,
and
assault,
abuse
and
extortion
are
all
still
illegal)
and
hopefully
these
pimps
will
all
be
thrown
behind
bars.
So
what
makes
"Business
Manager
PIMP"
a
good
PIMP?
1.
Protecting
the
women
(giving
the
ladies
a
feeling
of
their
own
security
is
priceless).
It
can
be a
dangerous
world
alone
for
the
escort
due
to
the
other
crime
elements
such
as
gangs,
predators,
and
bullies.
2.
Financially
advising
the
escorts
so
they
put
their
money
away
for
the
future
in
securities,
the
bank,
or
simply
a
safety
deposit
box,
or
in
some
cases,
two
safety
deposit
boxes.
Setting
up
goals
with
them
allowing
the
escort
to
see
value
for
her
time.
Perhaps
a
car
or a
house
in
the
future.
When
setting
goals,
my
advice
is
to
be
specific
such
as a
blue
2009
Nissan
GT-R.
Buying
used
is
always
a
wise
choice.
It
is
important
that
the
escorts
accumulate
assets
and
savings
for
their
investment
of
time.
These
ladies
can
make
a
lot
of
money.
It
is
the
saving
that
is
the
hard.
Making
lots
of
money
-
easy!
3.
Being
their
ride
and
again,
their
bodyguard
-
who
wants
to
be
dropped
off
by a
cab
on
some
outcall
and
have
no
one
around
if
something
goes
wrong?
An
outcall
is
where
the
escort
goes
to
you,
an
in-call
is
where
the
escort
keeps
a
discreet
place,
and
clients
go
to
her.
4.
Making
sure
the
escorts
are
planning
their
business
-
setting
up
advertising,
budgets,
schedules,
travel
plans.
Many
escorts
take
their
skills
on
the
road,
and
who
likes
to
travel
alone?
Nobody.
A
simple
thing
that
allows
the
ladies
to
make
money
is
advertising
and
although
an
escort
can
be
beautiful,
it
doesn't
always
mean
she
has
good
business
planning
or
sense.
A
good
pimp
helps
her
understand
advertising
makes
them
more
money,
and
puts
money
aside
for
that
expense.
The
other
important
point
in
advertising
is
the
move
from
newspapers
to
Internet.
Now
is
the
time
to
not
place
your
adv
on
one
website
but
on
multiple
websites
because
if
you
spend
50
-75
monthly
on
three
or
four
escort
advertising
websites
(approx
200
-
300
per
month),
then
each
of
those
websites
should
make
you
much
more
than
the
money
it
costs
to
advertise.
5.
And
from
first
hand,
a
Pimp
is
the
first
person
an
escort
turns
to
for
a
loan
for
college,
advise
on
car
buying,
and
between
the
two:
pimp
and
escort,
a
bond
of
loyalty
and
trust
develops.
Shit
happens
and
the
escort
may
have
to
turn
for
help,
a
pimp
should
always
be
there.
On
the
other
hand,
escorts
are
ladies
that
learn
how
to
hustle,
and
they
are
good
at
it,
so
in
the
same
breathe,
a
good
pimp
doesn't
allow
himself
or
herself
to
be
played.
And
yes,
women
can
be
pimps
too.
That
being
said,
a
good
pimp
never
breaks
that
trust,
talks
well
of
his
ladies
even
when
they
are
not
there
or
if
they
leave,
and
should
constantly
help
them
improve
both
physically
and
mentally.
I
say
mentally,
because
these
ladies
come
from
broken
homes,
and
sometimes
abuse.
They
may
and
most
do,
have
poor
self-esteem
and
other
issues
below
the
beautiful
surface
of
their
facade.
So
don't
judge.
People
say
that
the
"Law
is
legalizing
Prostitution"
but
prostitution
has
been
legal
since
Debra
Hutt
challenged
the
Canadian
law
in
1978
which
led
the
Canadian
Criminal
Code
to
be
re-written
in
1987.
In
Hutt
v.
R.
(1978)
it
was
held
that
for
the
activities
of a
prostitute
to
be
criminal
their
conduct
must
conform
to
the
dictionary
definition
of
“solicit”;
that
is
to
say,
it
must
be
importuning,
or
“pressing
or
persistent”
and
constitute
more
than
a
mere
indication
that
she
was
willing
to
prostitute
herself.
A
plainclothes
police
officer
permitted
the
appellant
to
enter
his
car.
She
then
identified
herself
as a
prostitute
discussed
terms.
The
Court
did
not
believe
that
this
fell
within
the
intent
of
parliament
to
prohibit
acts
“which
would
contribute
to
public
inconvenience.”
Four
judges
indicated
that
they
would
not
have
considered
an
automobile
a
“public
place”
also
excluding
the
actions
from
section
195.1.
Following
this
there
was
concern
that
the
police
could
no
longer
act
against
street
prostitution
so
long
as
there
was
no
“pressing
or
persistent”
behavior
So
if
prostitution
and
escorting
has
been
legal
for
so
long,
why
was
communicating
an
offer
of
sex
for
money
in a
public
place
illegal?
And
the
answer
is
simple,
the
public
doesn't
want
to
see
it.
In
reality
it
is
everywhere.
It
is
on
our
television,
shows
with
high
class
escorts
late
night
on
showcase
and
HBO,
it
is
in
magazines
and
newspapers,
people
love
to
read
about
it
and
talk
about
it.
So
lets
grow
up.
Escorting
is
here
to
stay
so
lets
make
it
safer.
Some
people
have
been
raised
to
believe
it
is
morally
wrong
to
sell
your
body
(sex)
for
money
and
if
it
is
morally
wrong,
then
it
should
be
illegal.
However,
there
are
many
different
perspectives
on
sex
and
money.
Some
join
swingers
clubs
and
have
orgies
with
different
partners,
some
ladies
get
offered
travel
vacations
with
the
understanding
of
sex
with
their
new
Sugar
Daddy.
The
other
side
of
the
coin
is
adult
movies
where
ladies
are
paid
as
actresses
to
make
hardcore
productions.
It
is
classified
as
commercial
expression
and
escorts
who
feel
comfortable
having
sex,
may
want
to
take
advantage
of
the
billion
dollar
industry
of
Internet
Porn.
Many
ladies
(and
men)
escort
for
different
reasons.
The
Courts
finally
understand,
it
is
time
to
allow
escorts
to
be
safe.
In
the
past,
escorts
get
robbed
and
raped
because
men,
bad
men,
think
the
escorts
or
escort
services
can
not
call
the
police.
That
is
why
the
change.
Everyone
in
this
country
deserves
to
be
safe.
The
church
goers
and
the
people
that
this
underground
part
of
the
world
doesn't
touch
should
not
judge.
They
have
never
been
beaten,
abused,
and
robbed
of
the
little
sign
of
happiness
that
you
see
in
the
innocent.
Canada
has
made
a
bold
move
and
it
should
follow
through.
The
other
big
change
in
the
law
is
the
bawdy
house
ruling.
With
the
same
frame
of
mind
that
escorts
need
to
feel
safe,
they
need
a
safe
work
environment,
and
have
people
around
them
to
protect
them.
A
bawdy
house
can
be
equipped
with
security
systems,
they
should
be
able
to
have
bodyguards
or
bouncers
present.
These
are
the
real
reasons
for
the
change.
Escorts
need
to
be
safe
too.
In
closing,
I am
happy
of
the
change.
Escorts
will
be
safer,
bodyguards
and
pimps
wont
feel
they
will
be
incarcerated
being
around
an
escorts
and
finally,
Johns
will
be
more
comfortable
with
their
choices.
Life
has
just
gotten
a
lot
less
stressful
for
everyone.
Escorts
-
stay
safe
and
save
for
the
future.
It
looks
real
bright
now.
